Shaker Style

Designed as part of a new open plan construction, this scheme combines two handpainted finishes in Farrow & Ball Down Pipe and Strong White. A wall of Down Pipe adds depth and contrast to the lighter toned island and fridge freezer housing, while a custom made window seat continues the depth of colour along the main kitchen wall, achieving a beautifully furnished look, making perfect use of a potentially unused corner. Illuminated, glass-fronted sections with oak internals punctuate the dark grey cabinetry, creating a warm glowing effect when the lights are on. A contoured iroko wood breakfast bar creates a sweeping effect at the island, contrasted with Silestone by Coseninto countertops in Snowy Ibiza. With dovetail drawers, brushed brass handles and patinated Quooker tap, the scheme blends classic and contemporary finishes for truly timeless appeal. The beautifully connecting utility and bootroom were designed as part of the overall scheme, as well as a bespoke bookcase off the living room.
