Mount Merrion

This bespoke kitchen was custom crafted to suit the fabric of a new contemporary, open plan extension (by Hogan Architects) to the rear aspect of a beautiful period home. Where old meets new, the panelled hallway steps down into a light-filled vaulted space where kitchen, living and dining areas live in harmony. Choosing classic Shaker style cabinetry, handpainted in Farrow & Ball De Nimes and Railings for a modern finish, this is a transitional scheme that lends itself perfectly to this old meets new interior. A stunning quartzite slab makes a statement on the island, with Silestone Yukon surfaces elsewhere, finished with a Quooker tap in gold and appliances by Ilve and Siemens. In addition to the kitchen, we also created a concealed door in the hallway, which blends with the decorative panelling.
